So as the academic year has drawn to its close that now means that i will not be teaching in schools again until September. This means i will be working a lot more on creative projects, such as writing and sessions. Ive got some really important meetings coming up in London with some members of the library music industry about session work, ive also been asked to work on a couple of shows which also start over the summer.

Im working on a very exciting track with a friend of mine which will stretch my playing to the limit, but is going to be great fun, as i will be spending lots of time in the studio writing and recording which will be fabulous! also im getting back together with my friend chris to be working on some gigs with Elektrik Jazz my fusion guitar duo. We've been a bit quiet this year as we've both been busy teaching, but next year we hope to be doing lots more gigging and we are going to be putting this in motion over the summer.

Probably my biggest development though is that i have now left the council run music service i was working for, so cutting edge guitar is now operating entirely on its own. Next year i will still be working in schools but only under my own banner, which is extremely exciting as this is something ive always wanted to do. 

It also means that i will have more time to dedicate to teaching in my studio at big noise. I will certainly be looking to build my numbers for September and have space to take on more students.
