Big Noise Room

My room is at The Big Noise Studios in Northampton. It is a fully equipped room, with a full PA system for use of backing tracks and any other audio we may need during a lesson. My room is also fully equipped with amplifiers for myself and my students to use, and due to the fact that the room is fully soundproofed, we can turn up as loud as we like without upsetting anybody.

My room is large enough to accommodate several people with guitars, but is not so huge as to feel intimidating if you are having a one-on-one lesson with me. I always have my iPad and my laptop in lessons so I can either print you copies of music sheets we are using during the lesson, or email you lesson notes if you prefer. We also have full internet access should we need to check videos of famous players, listen to tracks, or play along with music. I also have software on my laptop for slowing down pieces of music to make it easier for students to play along in the early stages of playing difficult pieces, and also I have guitar tablature, music notation, and fretboard diagram editing software so that I can create lesson sheets there and then if we have new subjects we have discovered that you require lesson notes for.
